This is a swing from one mainframe environment to another in order to be able to perform maintenance tasks. It is important to note - the swing happens every weekend, hence this will be recurring planned service degradation. We’d like to make you aware that there will be an outage for Open Banking customers of Bankline on 20th August. This will affect customers of the following brands: NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank (Northern Ireland) and Ulster Bank (Republic of Ireland).
The outage will start at 16:00 on Sat 20th Aug and will finish at 20:10 BST on Sat 20th Aug.
During this time, Open Banking customers of the affected brands will be unable to use Bankline for Account Information Services or Payment Initiation Services.
This will only impact our customers using the Bankline product, which is approximately 1.3% of our digital customer base. All other customers will continue to be able to use our AIS and PIS endpoints throughout this change window
We’ll be using the time to make enhancements to our systems that will ensure we continue to provide you and our customers with a reliable service.
