As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our service, Cynergy Bank is moving to a new Open Banking provider. Our new solution will launch on or after 14 January 2025.

Consequently, customers connecting with Cynergy Bank through your solution will need to reconnect, to ensure they still have access. We will also be contacting our Open Banking customers to advise them of this change.

To facilitate your testing, we will publish the revised endpoints to our Sandbox by 5 December 2024.

We will give advance notice if downtime is planned during the deployment, although this is not currently anticipated. The existing endpoints will be disconnected on 14 January 2025 and replaced with new endpoints.

AIB will be performing required maintenance of the Corporate Banking Channel on Friday the 1st of November. The channel will be unavailable during this period.
 
Note: Only PIS and new consent creation will be impacted as in-channel authorisation will be unavailable, all API's will be fully available throughout.

Virgin Money would like to notify the ecosystem that we have been experiencing issues with the merged API services for accounts hosted on https://api.openbanking.virginmoney.com/ since approx 07:00 GMT today, 1st November.

As a result, errors are being returned for AIS requests for existing consents. New consents should be successful, but the account transaction history will not be available.

The direct customer channels are also impacted by this issue, but accounts hosted on the stand-alone APIs are working as normal.

These issues are currently under priority investigation and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

NewDay would like to advise TPPs that they will be undertaking an emergency maintenance between 3am and 6am GMT on 01/11/2024. There will be disruption to AIS services during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
